Cardiovascular health
This episode of the Symposium Series booklets captures the in-depth presentations and discussions during our symposium of 2000.
Reduction in both incidence & mortality rates caused by cardiovascular disease
With dietary measures it is possible to achieve a substantial reduction in both incidence and mortality rates caused by cardiovascular disease. A better understanding of interactions between diets or pharmacological treatments and genetic profiles will make it possible to identify, on an individual basis, the susceptibility to a disease and to advise the same individuals on the most appropriate preventive or therapeutic measures to be taken.
